01 of 25. Alma White and Ernest White have been pointed to by Theoria White's writing at top center and bottom right. The photo was presented by Clea Neyman Grimes for publication in the Cherokee County Herald, May 11, 1988 in the "Looking Back" section. Mrs. Grimes son, Merle J. Grimes was unable to locate the original when contacted September 2011. Piney is synonymous with Pine Grove, a community just east of Centre. This is not from Connor White's photo album.
