RUNNING TIDY ON HTML PAGES

GUI_TIDY
Computer > C:\ . TIDY\GUI_TIDY\GUI_TIDY.EXE
Find and load HTML page.
Select "Auto-settings config"
If you make a mistake, the original HTML was saved as 0-(filename)
 
HTML VALIDATOR, ADD-ON IN FIREFOX DEVELOPER EDITION
Open Firefox developer edition. (Dark blue globe) and load the page you want to validate.
Click on square icon in address bar (HTML VALIDATOR)
In its menu select "HTML VALIDATOR" then "Clean up the page." Display "cleaned browser" and if OK, display "cleaned HTML." Select and mark it, then save into a text editor. Then save it as the desired finished HTML page, usually with the same name.

(Both methods work nearly the same. The HTML Validator produces neater, tidier text.)
